Utility bill payments can be made by phone using your debit/credit card, checks by mail, or leave your payment in drop box at front door. Community Point Bank is taking payments through the drive-thru window (cash or check only). Most needs can be taken care of with a phone call including business license application/payment, new utility service connections (application/deposit for rental). If you have a special need that cannot be handled over the mail or through the mail, please contact me to set up an appointment. Stay well, check on your neighbors, and support your local businesses that are remaining open to meet your daily needs.

pThe City Clerk is the city’s business manager or office manager. The clerk handles all of the city paperwork. She receives the city’s mail, prepares responses for the board to approve, makes purchases for the city between board meetings (with permission of the board) and conducts city business when the board is not in session. For every board meeting, the clerk must ensure that proper notice is posted within the required time and that a tentative agenda has been prepared in advance. The clerk receives, files and keeps city records and he or she is designated the custodian of records as required by law. The city treasurer, also the clerk for the City, becomes custodian of all city funds. The primary task is careful accounting of revenues and expenditures, and careful allocating of each to the proper fund. The city treasurer has the power to prepare finance reports and sign checks. Two signatures are always required for all checks, the Clerk, Mayor, and President of the Board in the event the Mayor of Mayor’s absence.
