Copies will be available at City Hall the week of the sale. OPEN BURN POLICY City Ordinance No. 2016.10 relates to the city's Open Burn policy within the Russellville City Limits. The ordinance can be found under heading: Open Burn Policy. The following is a brief overview of the ordinance: Open burning is restricted to yard/landscape waste only (limbs, leaves). Fires are allowed between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Fires are restricted to the premises on which yard waste was generated. No fires are permitted on city rights-of-way, streets, alleyways, or other city property. Burning of trash, garbage, treated lumber, building or demolition materials is not permitted, no exceptions. Recreational fires such as bonfires, fire pits, BBQ's, are permitted under this policy between the hours of 6:00 AM and midnight.
